Our topic this term is 'What can you dig for?'

We will be exploring the fascinating world beneath our feet! Children will learn about different mini-beasts that live underground, including spiders, beetles, woodlice, ants, ladybirds, and earthworms. They will discover where these creatures live, what they eat, and why they are important for our environment.

Through hands-on investigations and outdoor learning, pupils will develop their scientific observation skills, ask questions, and record what they find. We will also build our vocabulary, learning both the English and Welsh names for the creatures we study.

We are looking forward to an exciting term of digging, discovering, and learning together!
