Class Teacher: Mrs R. James My name is Mrs James. I have been working at the school for 12 years and feel very proud to be part of such a wonderful and supportive community. I also live locally and went to school in this area myself, so it’s lovely to now be teaching where I grew up. Outside of school, I’m a busy mum to two young girls. I enjoy spending time with my family and going away together whenever we can. |

PE is every Friday morning. Children to come to school wearing appropriate PE clothing. White T shirt, navy tracksuit bottoms and trainers. No jewellery.
Reading- Every Friday, children will be given an Oxford Reading Scheme book along with their reading record. We ask that you take time to read the book with your child, supporting and encouraging them as they develop their reading skills. Please write a short comment in their reading record about how they read and how they found the book. All reading books and records should be returned to school every Friday so that your child can be given a new book to continue their reading journey.
Theme: This term, our theme “Seize the Season and Celebrations” encourages your children to enjoy and explore the wonderful changes of Autumn. As the weather turns cooler and the leaves change colour, they will take part in fun activities and learning linked to this special time of year. We will celebrate Harvest Festival, Diwali, and Bonfire Night, and spend time observing the world around us. It’s a chance for your children to learn, create, and celebrate together as we make the most of this colourful season.
Homework: We do not set weekly homework, but we will send messages on Class Dojo to let you know when we would like your child to explore nature and the changing seasons at home. At times, we may also ask them to bring an item into school linked to our learning, to share and discuss with the class.
